Appearance: Very good looking kid in the Black-aristocratic fashion. Tall, lean, black hair usually worn short, grey "unfathomable" eyes.
Personality: An individual with a taste for mischief. He's a little arrogant lazy, but his bark (read: ha ha) is worse than his bite and he's not as bad as James in this regard. He's loud, brash, and he think's he's made of teflon. Even when things don't go his way, he doesn't see fit to just sit and wait it out. He's usually fair, usually. (Sorry Snape) Doesn't agree with his parents or his spineless younger brothers view on Muggle-borns and tries to get along with them. Thinks he's Merlin's gift to women.
History: Sirius' parents, Orion and Walburga Black, were and are staunch supporters of the extreme pure-blood agenda, since their blood is as pure as they come. They support Voldemort's view (Voldemort just beginning his rise into power), but they haven't gone so far as to become Death Eaters. Regulus will try that unsuccessfully later.
Sirius is their oldest son, and he's already established himself as a black-sheep: making friends with those no-good mudbloods and half-bloods. Sure, he's obviously inherited some of the legendary power of Blacks, and intelligence, wit and looks, but his will-power is just deplorable, and he has no pride in his heritige. While his parents are on the precipice of disowning him, Sirius is about ready to do the same. His best friend, James Potter, is more his speed when it comes to pure-bloods, and with him, Remus and Peter, who needs a legacy anyway?
Around two years ago, he, James and Peter discovered that their friend Remus was a werewolf. Instead of being afraid of his disease, they embraced him, and resolved to learn how to become animagi to keep the lad company. Sirius is still working on that, though he has discovered certain things about himself that he didn't realize before, like how he growls when he's angry, and how he has a laugh like a bark. I wonder...
